Another reunion has come and gone. The Real Housewives of New York spent the night arguing their way through Tom-foolery and accusations of blow and booze. At least they looked great doing it…most of them anyway. Scroll down to find out what they wore, who looked best, and how you can snag the looks for yourself.
1. Jules Wainstein
Jules wowed at her first, and last, New York reunion. The best dressed of all the housewives, the rookie wore a $3,000 Balmain mini dress. The Kardashians live in this brand, which is probably why this velvet showstopper is sold out. Hop on over to Amazon to snag a much cheaper copy for only $69.
2. Sonja Morgan
Sonja looked 20 years younger at the reunion and better than ever. I don’t know if it was the booze break or her glam squad, but something is working for Ms. Morgan. She wore a silk gown from her line, Sonja Morgan New York. Her dress cost $1295. Bloomingdale’s has a similar look, for a tenth of the price.
3. LuAnn De Lesseps
LuAnn wore a sparkly white jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are tricky to pull off on Bravo considering how many bravolebrities and WWHL suck ups have worn them so well. Bethenny is the queen of jumpsuits and Kim Zolciak-Biermann work a similar look after her wedding. This wasn’t a knock out, but the Countess looked decent, like she always does. Amazon has a similar jumpsuit under $30.
4. Carol Radziwill
Carole’s Alexander McQueen dress looks like a Loretta Lynn/Yeezy collaboration. Her high fashion look is sold out, but a sleeveless version is available on MatchesFashion for $2224. Similar, less coal-miner’s-daughter versions are available for much less on ASOS.
5. Bethenny Frankel
Bethenny wore a simple v-neck Fendi gown. I couldn’t find price details, but I’m sure its over $2500. Jill Stuart has a similar dress for $114. Like LuAnn’s jumpsuit, this look wasn’t amazing or horrific; it was okay. More than anything, the look was a huge middle finger to the bride-to-be. (*cough *cough) It may not have been a showstopper, but it certainly was a statement piece.
6. Ramona Singer
Ramona’s dress was a head scratcher for sure. It looked great one minute, bad the next. From far away it looked like a pretty black gown. Up close the sheer panels and wrinkles were too much. Sitting for 9 hours ruined this gown. Ralph Lauren has a similar dress that won’t wrinkle or cost so much.
7. Dorinda Medley
Dorinda wore a dress from Jovani Fashions, a favorite brand of hers. This is the same brand that teenagers turn to every Spring for their prom duds. The company also makes gorgeous jumpsuits and gowns, some of which Dorinda has modeled before. After looking over Jovani’s collection, I was surprised Dorinda chose this $750 mini dress over more glamorous options. If you’re into this art deco look, you won’t find a cheaper version than this $20 steal.
