Beverly Hills Reunion Conclusion
The reunion wasted no time in picking up exactly where it left off last week with Lisa Vanderpump sharing her experience with a physically abusive boyfriend. Yolanda and Eileen were happy to see Vanderpump show authentic emotion, but didn’t understand why she never shared the story before. Because y’all are nosy! The question of LVP’s inability to apologize came up…again. Don’t look for these two to mend fences tonight.
After LVP and Eileen’s rants were over, it was Erika and Kathryn’s turn to throw jabs. Was Kathryn right to ask Erika not to use the “C” word? Most of the ladies agreed that it was inappropriate. Did Kathryn throw Erika under the bus with the “web” comments? Was she rude at Erika’s house? Again, the ladies seem to think so, including Erika. Kathryn admits that she could have handled the situations differently. Erika doesn’t let Kathryn take the high ground. She uses the opportunity to share with the group that Kathryn called LVP a “harmless old lady”. The two have apologized and moved on, rebuilding their friendship.
For some reason the producers decided to pull former Housewife Brandi Glanville out to insult the ladies. In a prerecorded package, with a wine glass in-hand, Glanville began to slur her way through jabbing each woman, Mean Girls style. The ladies were not thrilled with the section and questioned Cohen’s reasoning in giving her such an opportunity.
The reunion took a lighter note, discussing the luxuries and vacations the women enjoyed this year and Kyle and LVP’s friendship. Happy hour didn’t last long as the conversation turned to Ken’s treatment, or discussions, of the other women. Ken doesn’t have the best track record with the other ladies, talking about how bad Yolanda looked at a party and calling Rinna the “B” word. LVP seemed indifferent to her husbands comments, which ticked the ladies off even more.
LVP couldn’t catch a break at this reunion. The conversation again turned to the Münchhausen topic, with Rinna insisting LVP planted the seed for a story line this season. Rinna swears LVP had text and telephoned her about the subject and told her to bring Kyle into it. LVP is just as adamant that this never happened and she only questioned if Rinna was going to bring Kyle into it, referring to the Instagram posts. LVP’s manipulations of friends, including Kyle became a huge theme. In the end, both Rinna and LVP admitted to being disappointed and wanting to move on.
This season was full of good times and drama. I loved seeing Kyle and LVP pal around. I loved new housewife Erika Girardi, not so much Kathryn Edwards. Please no more Münchhausen talk! Did the ladies tie up all of the loose ends at the reunion? I don’t think so and fully expect to see a lot of this season’s issues come up again next season. Can’t wait to see these ladies in season 7 which will premiere later this year.
